She was born to an Iranian father and Spanish mother, her mixed heritage has helped expand her vision beyond the boundaries of religion and geography. She is the daughter of two university professors. The name she was born under is Sarah Anne Callies. She is a gifted American actress who is best famous for her character Sara Tancredi on the Fox TV series Prison Break with co-star Wentworth Miller as well as Lori Grimes on AMC's The Walking Dead. Maxim Magazine named her among the "Hottest Women" of Fall 2008 TV. Callies was first a mover to New York, where she landed a role in the CBS short-lived show Queens Supreme as Kate O'Malley.
