Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 70, 1970) is an acclaimed American actress. She is most known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. Also, she was awarded applause for her television debut performance as a character on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. The actress has also appeared on 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to reports, she is working on a project with Vlas and Charley Paralapanides who wrote Immortals for an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. They are also shooting an upcoming TV series called Gods & Heroes.
