Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the very first woman to ever win two CrossFit Games. She was second in both the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit participant and media star is one of the CrossFit athletes from Iceland. She became famous for becoming the first female to win been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 Also, she is known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. She was a keen sportsperson and started working out at the age of five. As of 2009, she took part in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir is aged 31 (by 2021). Her height is around 5'7 and she weighs about 67 kgs. Annie started CrossFit back in California. She was able to perform well during the first few competitions. She finished amongst the top 10 out of more than 70. She did not manage to get any results from the tournament, and ended it with a ranking of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second place, and also won the silver medal same year. The following year, she participated again in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performances. She was the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first female who has ever won consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, she took home a gold. And in 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face of many brands such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. The self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 users, posting her family and travel videos as well as training diets.
